To mark the 40th anniversary of the 1971 Student Movement, the most important anti-imperialist struggle starring Colombian youth in the last century, Notes Workers offers readers a set of materials that help to understand the scope of those days, to extract from them the lessons that contribute to the student struggle in the present. Today as yesterday, higher education suffered a setback in the quality content and on budget, all originated in the implementation of policies in support of imperialist capital, which raises the urgency of comprehensive and conclusive mass actions that oppose the current state of affairs, the claim of an education tailored to the interests national, to defend science against the ideological trash of postmodernism and serve it and access the overwhelming majority of people. Save Atcon report, the documents were taken from the magazine Demarcation , year 1, No. 1, June 1974, the book University Colombian Crisis 1971, and several issues of the journal Red Tribune.
